About
Find servers worth joining.
ServerSift is a search engine for Discord communities. Most directories are piles of invite links ordered by who bumped last. We wanted something closer to a real search engine: reviewed listings, working invites, honest signals about how alive a server is, and ranking that cannot be bought.
What makes a listing
Nobody is scraped. A server appears here only after someone with Manage Server or Administrator permission signs in with Discord, submits it, confirms it is safe for work and truthful, and the listing passes automated moderation and, when needed, a human review. Invites are re-checked continuously; a dead invite removes the server from discovery until it is fixed.

How ranking works
Organic results are ordered by signals ServerSift measures itself. None of them can be purchased.
- Relevance — full-text and fuzzy matching against the name, descriptions, tags, category and language.
- Trending — recent views, opens and (heavily weighted) join clicks, favorites and successful bumps, with time decay and penalties for reports and stale listings.
- Activity — aggregate message frequency measured hourly by our bot, adjusted for channel breadth, consistency and server size. Read the activity measurement page for the details.
- ServerSift Rating — a 0–100 listing-quality score from listing completeness, invite health, verification, recent activity, join conversion, favorite rate, report rate, moderation history and freshness. It is shown only once there is enough data, and owners can see exactly why they scored what they did.
Bigger is not better by default: activity is normalised by member count and Hidden Gems deliberately surfaces small servers that convert visitors into members.
Sponsored versus organic
Paid placements exist to fund the site. They are always labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured”, are visually separate, and are rendered by a different system from the ranking above. Paying ServerSift does not move a server up in search, trending, categories or tags — ever. The full rules are in the advertising policy.
What /bump does
Owners who add our bot can run /bump in their server. A successful bump refreshes the listing’s discovery timestamp and adds a small, capped contribution to trending. It is limited to once every two hours per server by default (adjustable by ServerSift), with a daily cap, per-user cooldowns and suspicious-pattern detection. Bumping cannot put a server at the top of search, override sponsored slots, bypass moderation or reset a rating.
Safe for work, only
ServerSift does not list NSFW communities and has no NSFW categories, tags or filters. Servers marked NSFW on Discord are rejected at submission and removed if they change later.
Privacy by design
We never store message content or per-user activity, never build member profiles, and never keep precise IP addresses. Sign-in asks Discord for the two smallest scopes that let us recognise you and list the servers you manage. See the privacy policy.
Independent
ServerSift is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc., and it is not part of, powered by, or dependent on any other bot or moderation service.
